Heavy, solid, spins forever if I lay it on its side on my kitchen island, hold my thumb on the center axle and flick the spinner's edge hard with the middle finger of my other hand. The 6 large armor plates flip outward due to centrifugal force as it spins but don't flip outward/extend quite as much as my other one from a different company. As it slows down the 12 armor panels all retract automatically due to decreasing centrifugal force and the pull of the magnets which then, due to what is known as the ice skater effect, actually makes the spin speed increase slightly, prolonging the spin time even more. Dark gray color is slightly lighter than my other one. One star off for the price and the fact the 6 panels physically cannot open farther to give the toy a larger appearance while spinning. Gonna be a very cool toy.
